During our renovation, we redesigned the house interior to serve the needs of large groups and families with diverse interests and schedules. With the new layout, you can easily choose to be all together or have some privacy. The kitchen, dining and living spaces flow into one another but each room individually is spacious enough to have several people gathered; your group can feel together but not on top of one another. The televisions are wholly separate (one in the living room, another in the game room); one group can play Xbox while another dines or watches a movie upstairs. The house is very quiet due to concrete radiant floors and interior doors. And while the upstairs is mostly living space, the bedrooms on that floor are off a hallway separated by french doors. Two entryways means guests don't have to disturb others while coming and going from the house. One entry is accessible from the garage or porch and serves the mudroom and laundry directly so you can dump your gear and leave your muddy dog right when you enter (we ALL get so dirty when we are here!). Please note, the separate office and bath on the first floor adjacent to the garage are not available for rent.
